Art & Sip: Hand-Stitched Bookbinding

Instructor: Brandy Coons
Bookbinding is back this season by popular demand! Learn bookbinding techniques and vocabulary as you fold, stack, and sew pages together using the Coptic stitch bookbinding method. Coptic binding results in a spine that opens completely, so your book will lay flat. The sewn binding is refined enough to be a decorative element on a finished book, or it can be covered by a hard binding. You have the option to continue your bookbinding education in the next class!

Register online or by calling 303-651-8374. Registration opens January 3 for Museum members and January 9 for public.
