Stravinsky’s “The Firebird” & New Works by Local Choreographers

The Centennial State Ballet returns for two performances of their Fall Showcase featuring new work by choreographers Ellie Hara and Laura Malpass, and a one-act ballet favorite, Stravinsky’s The Firebird. Marking the composer’s first international success, The Firebird premiered in 1910 at the Paris Opera performed by the Ballet Russes. Over a century later it continues to be a fan favorite.
