City Council Open Forum

The Longmont City Council holds an Open Forum twice a year. The Open Forum provides an opportunity for residents to speak for up to five minutes on any topic of their choosing. Normally, City Council is not able to engage with the public during public comment according to the City Council Rules of Procedure, however, the Open Forum is a less formal format and council persons are able to ask and respond to questions from the public. The Open Forum begins at 7 pm in the Council Chambers located in the Civic Center at 350 Kimbark St., Longmont, CO 80501.

Anyone wishing to speak during the Open Forum must sign up to speak prior to 7 pm.

Meeting agendas and cancellations are posted on the City’s Agenda Management Portal.
