Our trash can have a negative impact on the community from the contamination of soil and water to the production of greenhouse gas emissions. Spend your Sunday afternoon at a family-friendly waste management event featuring information tables, kids activities and a panel discussion to learn about practical steps that can be taken to reduce waste in the community.

A panel discussion with Randy Moorman of Eco-Cycle, Heidi Quince, owner of Simply Bulk Market, and Tim Broderick of Boulder County’s Zero Waste Action Plan. Moderated by Hilary Rosner, Assistant Director of CU Boulder’s Center for Environmental Journalism.

Designed to engage, inform and equip people with practical ways to help make a difference on climate change, Climate Action Sundays feature information tables, kids activities, and a panel discussion of experts who will provide the latest information on air quality, waste management, energy and water.
