Community Memory Weaving (with Supporting Action for Mental Health)

We are all connected in the warp and weft of life. Participate in a Community Memory Weaving by Celebrating someone you know who has died by suicide or seriously considered it. Strips of fabric will be supplied to use to hold your loved ones’ name in the Weaving. Stop by the Firehouse Art Center, 667 4th Ave., Sept. 13 between 6-9 pm to add the name of a loved one to the Community’s Collaborative Memory Weaving Project.

Many More Tomorrows Supporting Action for Mental Health

September is International Suicide Prevention Month. To support our community, Supporting Action for Mental Health has organized a month-long series of events and discussions about creating mental wellness. The activities aim to help residents recognize the tools they already have and fill up their toolbox with new tools to address a mental health challenge for themselves, a loved one or the community as a whole.
