Discovery Days Music with Bonnie and Taylor Sims (of Bonnie & The Clydes) offers an introduction to rhythm and song through well-loved folk tunes and timeless nursery rhymes.

No registration required. Ages 2-6 with an adult. $4 museum members, $4.50 nonmembers. Scholarships are available for Discovery Days thanks to support from the Dodge Family Foundation. Contact Leigh for more information.

Discovery Days encourages children ages 2–6 and their caregivers to learn together through engaging in hands-on activities. This year, we are expanding our usual Discovery Days offerings in arts and crafts to include more cultural expression—music and movement! We have added a new day of fun and learning on Tuesdays for these additional activities. When you attend a session of Discovery Days with your child, you will help them cultivate important school-readiness skills such as language development, attention and concentration, fine motor skills, emotional regulation, language skills, play, and social abilities.
