Dulcimer Group: Singin’ Strings
Dulcimer Group: Singin’ Strings
The mountain dulcimer, also known as the lap or Appalachian dulcimer, is an intriguing instrument developed in America. It is an increasingly popular musical instrument known for its sweet lilting qualities. “Singin’ Strings” is a group of dulcimer players meeting at the Senior Center to work on their skills and share music. All levels of dulcimer players are welcome to join in. Call Nancy Beaudrot at 303-772-2094 for more information or before dropping by the group as they may be in the community performing during practice time. Cost: 50¢ per session. They typically meet on the second and fourth Thursdays, from 2 to 3:30 pm.
