Fall Public Safety Citizen Academy

The Department of Public Safety offers a Citizen Academy to Longmont residents to give them a better understanding of what first-responders do. This weekly class is a hands-on experience taught by firefighters and police officers. Class generally meets at night from 6:30pm-9:30pm.Class is free.

Classes start Sept. 4 and run through Nov. 6. The deadline to apply for the fall Public Safety Citizen Academy is August 21. Participants must be 18-years-old.

Locations for this class will vary within the City of Longmont.
