Free Cultural Enrichment Program: Legendary Ladies
The Legendary Ladies bring us four women who made an impact on society. These performers come in period appropriate costume and tell the stories of:
- Alice Ramsey, first woman to drive cross country.
- Mabel Dodge, who was called a Bohemian rebel with too many husbands and too much money.
- Bertha Spears, A Harvey Girl, a farm girl who seized the opportunity to join the largest migration of working women, and
- Lady Catherine Moon, a spunky washerwoman – rancher who married into British Royalty.
