Guided Bird Walk at Sandstone Ranch

Discover the historic Sandstone Ranch Visitors & Learning Center where you can experience hands-on displays about environmental features of the area while learning about early Longmont history. A nature trail takes you past several historical buildings, near the sandstone bluffs, and includes a scenic overlook and beautiful views. Numerous species of wildlife and birds can be seen in the area.

Guided Bird Walk:  8am – noon Tuesday, Sept 24. Local birder, Carl Starace, guides you around the loop trail as you explore the variety of birds that pass through or call Sandstone Ranch home. Bring binoculars. Meet up at the upper parking lot.  Call 303-774-4700 or register online for this program.  $4/person suggested donation.
