Megan Burtt started her musical career in the clubs and festivals in her hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana. She brought her eclectic style of music, which incorporates elements of folk, New Orleans R&B, blues, jazz, country, and pop, to Colorado in the late 80’s and hasn’t slowed down since. Her acoustic swamp groove is apparent in her guitar and percussion playing, songwriting, and soulful inspired singing. Liz was voted by her peers as the “Best Singer-Songwriter Female” in Fort Collins Musicians Association Peer Awards 2020. In November of 2019 Liz was inducted into the Colorado Music Hall of Fame as a member of the Mother Folkers (the most carefully pronounced name in show business). The Mother Folkers is a group of women musicians who began in the 1970’s with original members Mary Flower, Mary Stribling, Kathi DeFrancis, and Eileen Niehouse. Over the years the members have included Mollie O’Brien, Carla Skiaky, and Vicki Taylor to name a few. Liz received the prestigious “Lifetime Achievement Award” by Fort Collins Musicians Association in 2012.
Danny Shafer with over 200 shows a year brings his acclaimed songwriting and fingerstyle guitar to every setting. “Shafer has kept the front range jumping and hollering for some time” – The Boulder Weekly. Both in a solo show or full Americana band, Shafer has brought his music and audience to esteemed venues such as The Rocky Mountain Folks Festival, The Boulder Theater, The Fox Theatre, Swallow Hill, eTown, and many more festivals, colleges, clubs all over the country.
Antonio Lopez is a quiet man with something to say. His music is like an onion. It has many layers, each one revealing something more. His adept guitar work and composition skills are never used in a showy way but rather like the spices in a delectable home-cooked meal. The result is a feast of emotions that delights the listener. His latest release, Roots and Wings, won Album of The Year and Song of The Year in the Colorado Playlist Listener’s Poll. Lopez was born in Alamosa, CO, steeped in the Chicano culture of northern New Mexico and southern Colorado. Since 2012, Lopez has been living in Longmont, CO. “Lopez’s words feel like a sacred mantra for the coming days.” -The Boulder Weekly
