Enjoy fun in the sun at Longmont’s Sunset Pool and parks this summer. Sunset Pool, 1900 Longs Peak Avenue, opens today with pre-summer hours and limited amenities. A heated outdoor pool designed for the entire family, Sunset Pool features six lap lanes, a large wading area, three diving boards and two fast and fun waterslides. The splash pads at Stephen Day Park, 1340 Deerwood Drive, and Sandstone Ranch Park, 3001 E Highway 119, are turned on beginning Saturday, May 27. Splash pads are open from 8am-8pm daily.
