The Cultural Caravan – The Grand Finale
The Cultural Caravan – The Grand Finale
The Longmont Museum is proud to present the conclusion of the Cultural Caravan’s first-ever June Festival. Join us to discover what happens when folk music meets Zimbabwean Afropop, when Venezuelan jazz meets Classical music—and what happens when all these artists unite in service of the local businesses and organizations in their own community.
Featuring Kristin Gornstein, mezzo-soprano; Joshua Halpern, cello; Victor Mestas, piano; Jayme Stone, banjo and guitar; and Gonzalo Teppa, bass, along with a diverse roster of guests, for an unforgettable night of brand-new collaborations and boundary-breaking explorations of musical sounds.
Tickets

About the Program
The Cultural Caravan offers up its first-ever June Festival, including:
• seven main stage concerts at co-presenting venues including the Dairy Arts Center, the ATLAS Institute at CU, and the Longmont Museum
• free pop-up concerts in collaboration with dozens of local businesses and community organizations across Boulder County
• free open rehearsals, where community members witness the collaborative process as it unfolds
In its inaugural 2021 season, the Cultural Caravan collaborated with 20+ local businesses and community organizations to present over 30 local artists silenced by Covid-19, encouraging community support for the arts and local businesses during a desperate time. You can find more information at www.culturalcaravan.org.
Presented in collaboration with the Boulder Food Rescue and the Latino Community Foundation of Colorado.
