Virtual Art & Sip: Phases of the Moon Wall Hanging (Polymer Clay)
About This Event
Join Longmont Museum Curator of Education Ann Macca as she teaches multiple techniques while creating three polymer clay projects. Best of all, you can bake them at home in your oven!
Supplies Needed
- Polymer clay such as Sculpey or Fimo. You will need black, white and at least 1 other color of your choice.
- Gold acrylic paint
- Small paint brush
- Rolling pin
- Pencil
- Small round cookie cutter or jar lid (roughly 2 inches)
- Cutting tool such as a box cutter, x-acto knife, or a small sharp kitchen knife
- Aluminum foil or parchment baking paper
- 1 stick about 12 inches long
- String
How to Participate:
Visit the Museum’s livestream webpage, Longmont Museum’s Facebook LIVE, LongmontPublicMedia.org, or Comcast Channel 8/880 starting at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, March 10, with your supplies ready. The instructor will guide you through the project through video.
