Virtual Discussion: Ageism Through the Ages
Virtual Discussion: Ageism Through the Ages
Virtual Discussion: Ageism Through the Ages
Ageism simply means prejudice or discrimination on the grounds of a person’s age. What are some of those prejudices? Why do they exist, and how can we overcome them? Join the young adults of Grey Havens Philosophy for a thoughtful conversation about misperceptions we have of each other.
This program will give us an opportunity to share our own experiences of ageism and challenge aging stereotypes. If you’d like to share your experience ahead of time, please email Brandy at brandy.queen@longmontcolorado.gov. All ages welcome. Presented by Senior Services staff Brandy Queen and Grey Havens Philosophy Facilitator Robyn Bosica.
