Virtual Presentation: Disrupting Ageism

Let’s explore how we can disrupt some of the misperceptions of aging that we commonly encounter in our culture. We will begin by watching the Let’s End Ageism TED Talk. Then we will discuss the film and and incorporate some ideas from the Disrupt THAT!™ card game. This program will give us an opportunity to feel empowered to respond to difficult comments about aging, to challenge aging stereotypes, and to better understand a variety of perspectives on aging. Presented by Senior Services staff Brandy Queen.
