Longmont Judicial Department - Administrative Orders

The Longmont Judicial Department, including both Municipal Court and Probation, has adopted a number of Administrative Orders for the performance of court business.  These Administrative Orders are on file with the City of Longmont Municipal Court.

Chief Judge Administrative Orders

The City of Longmont is part of both the 19th and 20th Judicial Districts of Colorado.  Each Judicial District has adopted Administrative Orders for the performance of court business.  While these Administrative Orders may or may not apply for the court business of the City of Longmont, they are persuasive and provide guidance.

Chief Justice Directives

The Colorado Supreme Court is the state's court of last resort.  Its decisions are binding on all other Colorado Courts.  The Supreme Court has exclusive jurisdiction to promulgate rules governing practice and procedure in civil and criminal actions.
