2021 CDBG CAPER
The 2021 Program Year is the second year of the City of Longmont's 5-year Con Plan (2020-2024). We made strides in FY2021 using CDBG funds toward the 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan.
Table 1 within the 2021 CAPER (page 2) shows the progress to date of the Consolidated. Please see "Financial Overview" tab below for more specific information on actual projects undertaken in 2021.
While not all funding budgeted was spent in 2021, awards encumbered with 2021 funds will reach completion in 2023 and are expected to greatly advance our goal progress specifically for rental units’ rehabilitation.
Longmont continues to provide its CDBG, HOME, and Affordable Housing funds toward programs that not only serve all racial/ethnic minorities but serve people with disabilities and female heads of household. The City of Longmont in 2021 through its CDBG entitlement funding assisted 82 female heads of household and 42 households with a disability.
