Longmont Lights Holiday Celebration and Parade
Enjoy the mystery and magic of millions of sparkling lights in Roosevelt Park from 5-8pm (activity times vary) December 9-10 during the City’s annual free holiday celebration, Longmont Lights!
Friday Night
This Friday, December 9, 2022 starting at 5pm join us for a stroll around Roosevelt Park, lit up with thousands of holiday festival lights. Dress for the outdoor weather and come prepared to enjoy:
- Hot cocoa carts
- Costumed characters
- Fire pits Santa’s workshop in the St. Vrain Memorial Building (700 Longs Peak Ave)
- Visits with Santa in the Senior Center (910 Longs Peak Ave)
- Holiday music 6pm -7pm performed by the Wild Beautiful Orchestra with two vocalists and jazz quartet.
Please note that the line to see Santa ends at 7:15pm; bring your own camera to capture the memories.
The night ends with a bang! Don’t miss the fireworks show above the St. Vrain Memorial Building at 7:45pm!
Saturday Night
At 5pm Saturday, December 10, 2022 cheer on all the floats in the Holiday Parade of Lights on Main Street. The parade begins at 5pm starting at Longs Peak Ave & Coffman Street heading south to 3rd Avenue before heading east to main Street where the parade—and Santa!—will travel north up Main Street.

The lights in Roosevelt Park, powered by First National Bank, are lit nightly until early January.
