Lockling House
Name: Lockling House
Address: 1130 Collyer St.
Landmark Designation: 2004
Construction Date: 1915
Architectural Style: Edwardian Vernacular
The house represents a fine example of the Edwardian Vernacular style, also known as the American Four Square style. While most examples in Longmont of this style are small, this house is notable because of its size and the fact that it occurs outside the historic center of town. It's somewhat unusual location is due to the fact that originally it was a farmhouse located on the outskirts of town. This house remains almost unchanged visually from the original structure.
