The boys learn how to tend a beehive\, and a family uses their love of nature to repair the bonds of Black fatherhood and teach stewardship of the land. \n  \n  \ni ran from it and was still in it \n2020 | 11min     Directed by Darol Olu Kae\nKae wades through deep emotions surrounding the death of his father and the sudden relocation of his children\, repurposing intimate family scenes from daily life by pairing them with archival materials sourced online to explore how the autobiographical model can potentially extend beyond the personal. \n  \n  \n  \nSundance Institute Community Agreement\nWe thank you for doing your part in creating an inclusive environment that is welcoming to all by committing to being intentional with your words by abstaining from hate speech or actions of any kind and being respectful of moderators\, artists\, and other attendees by refraining from sustained disruption of events.
