You may request that your ticket be reviewed through an informal administrative parking review process by submitting a Parking Citation Appeal Form. You have 20 days from the date the ticket was issued to appeal your ticket, and you will receive a decision within 20 days of your form submission. Please mail or bring your form, along with a copy of your original ticket, to the Parking Enforcement Office located at 385 Kimbark Street, Longmont, CO 80501.
You may also request a formal hearing instead of an informal administrative parking review if you are past the 20 day limit for the informal review or if you prefer to appear in person with a Hearing Officer present. To request a formal hearing, you must file a written request with the Longmont Municipal Court and pay a $25 hearing fee within 60 days from the date the ticket was issued. The hearing fee will only be refunded if the Hearing Officer determines that a parking infraction did not occur. There is no further recourse if the decision is upheld; parking tickets are a strict liability offense.
