Join the City of Longmont Sustainability staff, Waste Services Staff and Sustainable Resilient Longmont to celebrate Earth Day and learn how to live more sustainably.

This year will have a focus on agricultural education on how to improve our soil and grow tasty food, while also drawing carbon dioxide out of the air. You can also learn about sustainable fashion, get your hands dirty with park mulching and cleanup opportunities, and visit dozens of booths providing fun and educational activities on how to live more sustainably.

You will also be able to ask questions and learn more about the new composting guidelines that took effect on April 1, and find out how to compost more effectively.
