Astronomy Night & Star Party

Spring at the Ranch – Astronomy Night & Star Party

Discover the historic Sandstone Ranch Visitors & Learning Center where you can experience hands-on displays about environmental features of the area while learning about early Longmont history. A nature trail takes you past several historical buildings, near the sandstone bluffs, and includes a scenic overlook and beautiful views. Numerous species of wildlife and birds can be seen in the area.

Astronomy Night:  6:30-9:30 pm Friday, March 29.  Take a journey through our solar neighborhood and learn about the planets and beyond. Once it gets dark, we’ll head outdoors to take a look at the sky. Members of Longmont Astronomical Society will be there with telescopes for viewing. All ages welcome. Call 303-774-4700 or register online for this program.  $4/person suggested donation.
