Bike Friendly Driving Class
Bike Friendly Driving Class
Do you ever wonder WHY people on bicycles ride where they do? Is it legal? How can you “safely” get around them? And as a bicyclist, is it okay to ride outside of the bike lane if there is glass, debris or a garbage can in your way?
Join us for the Bicycle Friendly Driver class! Let’s look at some scenarios and determine best practices to share the roads in Longmont (and beyond) with safety and courtesy. This 90 minute class is intended for ALL road users and will include infrastructure review, common crash data and some fun “legal or not” interactive discussion. FREE for all and certificates of completion will be provided.
Dates of classes: Tuesday, May 9 2:00-3:30; Weds., June 7 2-3:30 and Weds., July 12 3:30 – 5:00.
