High Noon on the Waterfront
USA, Short Documentary, 2022, 14 min
Elia Kazan (voiced by John Turturro), the informer who “named names” to Congress of suspected communists in Hollywood, directed On the Waterfront. Carl Foreman (voiced by Edward Norton), who was blacklisted and had to move overseas, wrote High Noon. This film imagines a conversation between the two using their own written words, as the film commemorates the 75th anniversary of the Hollywood Blacklist. Directed and produced by David Roberts and Billy Shebar.

Thursday Nights at the Museum
The Longmont Museum exhibits and galleries are open until 9 pm on Thursday nights. Unwind after work with a beer or glass of wine and create art in one of our adult Art & Sip classes or join us for a Thursday Nights at the Museum program to see a movie, catch a great band, or hear extraordinary people talk about issues of importance to Boulder County and beyond. Many of the programs take inspiration from our current exhibition “agriCULTURE” Art Inspired by the Land.
