In legendary Russian filmmaker Andrei Tarkovsky’s brilliantly original sci-fi epic, the crew of the Solaris space station experience a strange phenomenon, sending them on a voyage into the darkest recesses of their minds.

Taking inspiration from Terry Maker’s exhibition Because the World is Round, we boldly engage some rather cosmic subject matter including human consciousness, artificial intelligence, life on other planets, and the environment in this season’s film series.
