Climate Action Sunday: The Ways We Travel
Climate Action Sunday: The Ways We Travel
Designed to engage, inform and equip people with concrete ways to help make a difference on climate change, these Sundays feature an information fair with community partners and local resources, kids’ activities, a film, and a panel discussion featuring experts on climate change.
1:30-3 pm: Feature Film: The Engine Inside (PG-13)
3-3:30 pm: Panel Discussion
1:30 – 3:30 pm: Kids-Zone: while parents attend the film and discussion, children can enjoy a program just for them (suggested ages 5-10)
3:30-5 pm: Sustainable Transportation Fair
We’ve suffered the unforeseen consequences of a car-consumed culture for more than a century. Transportation is now the largest source of greenhouse gas emissions in the United States. Join us to explore how people are thinking outside the car to make big impacts from climate change, to socio-economic inequality, to more livable cities. Featuring “The Engine Inside” (PG-13).
