GRIP – Gang Response and Intervention Program
Parenting doesn’t come with a manual: join us for this free GRIP class and learn the signs of gang activity and keep your kids safe. Snacks and daycare will be provided.
- Who: All ages! Parents and peers are welcome to attend. There will be breakout groups in English and in Spanish.
- What: A free series of lectures and workshops designed to empower parents and peers with information to keep kids safe. The series will focus on how to spot early warning signs of gang involvement and substance use in our community, and to promote gun safety and mental health in our local youth.
- Why: To build community, heal from hurts, and empower parents and youth.
- Where: Lashley Street Station (1200 Lashley Street)
