Then, step into our Stewart Auditorium for A.R. Gurney’s “Love Letters,” a poignant and touching play that explores the complexities of love and friendship through the lifelong correspondence between characters Andrew and Melissa. Their story unfolds through their letters, postcards, and notes, painting a vivid picture of hopes, dreams, conflicts and connections. Produced by :11 After Theatre Company.

Melissa Fike (Melissa)
– Melissa has performed both locally and around the country for more years than she can count! She was a singer/dancer at Walt Disney World in the musical revue “Memory Lane” before performing with “Jukebox Saturday Night” and “Peanut Butter Children’s Touring Theatre” in Connecticut. She also was a featured performer in the touring “The News In Revue,” a musical political satire that had homes off-Broadway, around the country, and on PBS, where she was nominated for a Best Acting Emmy Award. Favorite performances locally include Performance Now! (Muriel, “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels”), Vintage Theatre (Bobbi/Gabby, “City of Angels”), Longmont Theatre Company (4-time TARA Award-winner – Rose, “Gypsy;” Mrs. Lovett, “Sweeney Todd;” Golde, “Fiddler on the Roof;” Jack’s Mother, “Into the Woods”), Woof! Theatre Productions (Amy, “Company;” Joanne, “Godspell;” Ensemble, “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change”), Theatre Company of Lafayette (Fastrada, “Pippin”), Coal Creek Theatre (Jeannie, “The Great American Trailer Park Musical”). “Love Letters” is her second show with :11 After.

– Joel is thrilled to be back on stage with Melissa for this wonderful event. Favorite roles include Tevye in “Fiddler on the Roof” (Longmont Theatre Co. and Standby at BDT Stage), Grandpa Gelman in “Caroline or Change” (Aurora Fox), Slank in “Peter and the Starcatcher” (BDT), Andre in “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” (Longmont Theatre Co),  Mushnik in “Little Shop of Horrors” (Northglenn Players), and Roma in “Glengarry Glen Ross” (Theatre Company of Lafayette). Thanks to Melissa, Heather and Ronan for putting together this beautiful piece. And special thanks to Nancy and Max for their love and support.

Heather Frost, Director – Heather is a stage director, actor and producer along the Front Range. Her favorite directing credits include “Who’s Holiday,” “Pippin,” “HAIR: the American Love Rock Musical,” “I Love You You’re Perfect Now Change,” and “The Great American Trailer Park Musical.” She last directed “In the Next Room or the Vibrator Play” which recently won an award for 2023 Best Comedy by OnstageColorado.com. Favorite acting credits include Patsy in “Bingo! The Winning Musical,” Gilmer in “Godspell,” and Veta “Louise in Harvey.” Heather is also Board Vice President and a founding member of :11 After Theatre Productions.
