Mask and Glove Drive
Mask and Glove Drive
Because of the success of this first event, Longmont Recreation and Senior Services staff and CERT volunteers will host four additional mask and glove drives to benefit Longmont’s senior citizens and vulnerable adults, Meals on Wheels volunteers, and first responders, among others. These events will be held in the parking lot of the Longmont Recreation Center, 310 Quail Road, from 10 am to 2 pm on the next two Wednesdays – April 22 and 29, and the next two Saturdays – April 25 and May 2. The drive-up event accepts donations of homemade fabric masks, masks intended for commercial use (N95, KN95, FFP2, surgical masks), goggles that seal to the face, face shields, non-latex, and nitrile gloves. We ask that items other than homemade fabric masks be in new condition and in original packaging. For more information visit longmontcolorado.gov/Home/Components/News/News/9909/3.
