Thin Trees for Wildlife & Native Bees
Thin Trees for Wildlife & Native Bees
Help thin unhealthy trees at Sandstone Ranch. This is a United Way Day of Caring volunteer event for Ages 12+.
Thinning unhealthy trees and limbs will make the area more accessible to wildlife and allow staff to control weeds between the remaining trees. (Thinned trees will be made into “bee walls” for native bee nesting habitat at a volunteer event on Sept. 20.)
Registration is required for this activity. Register on the United Way Foothills Day of Caring page to reserve your spot.
Questions about this activity should be directed to the POST Volunteer Coordinator.
