Youth Mental Health First Aid

Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) is an 8-hour certification course for caring adults who want to help youth (ages 12-18) who may be in crisis or experiencing a mental health challenge. This ground-breaking prevention program is designed to teach the tools necessary to recognize unique risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems in adolescents, and provide participants with appropriate actions, including a 5-step action plan, to help. Participants must be at least 18 years old to attend the course.
