Counseling
Children, Youth and Families offers youth and their families, free-of-charge counseling services by professionally-trained mental health professionals in Spanish and English. Counselors can help families improve communication, assess issues, and plan for the future.  They also can assist families in connecting with various community resources. Licensed therapists provide youth (from 6th grade to 17 years old) with individual, group, and family therapy as well as substance use counseling. Services are available in-person, online, and by phone.

Additional Free and Low-cost Counseling Programs
“I Matter” – Free Counseling Sessions for Colorado Youth
I Matter, a program created in part by the Colorado Office of Behavioral Help, provides up to three free counseling sessions for Colorado youth. Youth and their parents can visit the I Matter platform to take a confidential online survey about their mental health and schedule sessions with a licensed behavioral health clinician. Sessions are conducted primarily online over telehealth. All Colorado youth ages 18 or younger—or 21 and younger if receiving special education services—are eligible to receive free services.
Boulder County Crisis Counseling Program
Jewish Family Service and Community Foundation Boulder County have partnered to offer counseling services to Boulder County residents. The program offers up to $500 toward five individual counseling sessions (a maximum of $100 per session), or up to $875 toward five family counseling sessions (a maximum of $175 per session) and provides a pool of licensed, approved providers from which to choose.
