Life Skills Fair

The City of Longmont’s Children, Youth, and Families division has teamed up with the St. Vrain Valley School District to host a Youth Life Skills Fair.
WHEN: Sunday, April 6, from 11am to 4 pm
WHERE: Boulder County Fairgrounds at 9595 Nelson Road in Longmont
Teens aged 11-17 will enjoy hands-on workshops on health and practical skills, job opportunities, and City resources, in a festival atmosphere with games, a live DJ, and nearby food trucks offering food and beverages for purchase.
While exploring stations on health, future careers, and more, youth will gain opportunities to win prizes. The fair aims to give all youth an opportunity to acquire new skills and explore diverse career paths while enjoying each other’s company. New this year is a dedicated parent area, where they can gain information and skills to better support their teens and find ways to entertain younger children attending the event.
Registration
While the fair is free, pre-registration is recommended to speed up entry on April 6.
