The Children, Youth and Families mission is to “inspire and empower children, youth and families to be active, responsible members of society while strengthening the connection with the community.”

As a volunteer, you can support our mission in the following areas:

• Supervising or leading activities like tutoring and workshops, or chaperoning field trips
• Assisting with school year and/or summer meals program
• Helping the Mayor’s Book Club or Reading League programs
• Supporting annual Youth Center events

Join the Longmont Youth Council

Would you like a say in what’s happening with youth in our community? Longmont Youth Council is an advisory board to City Council on Youth issues. This is another great way to volunteer! Please email Jennifer Diaz-Leon or call her at (303) 774-3754. To join you must attend a Longmont High School or have a Longmont mailing address.
