Youth Council Projects

Over the last 6 years, the Longmont Youth Council has been involved in many projects including Halloween for the Hungry, Tobacco Prevention, Diversity Day, Anti-Vandalism, and Sticker Shock, a campaign that raised awareness about the legal consequences of purchasing and providing alcohol to minors. Youth Council Grant

The Longmont Youth Council grant is an excellent opportunity for students in need of money to fund projects and activities that will help our community and change the world. We give up to $600 to student-led organizations all across the Longmont area. Please feel free to share this opportunity with students and groups in need.

We look for projects with a lot of passion. Applications need to clearly explain the project, describe the long-term effects expected from the project, and how the project will directly impact our community.

While students as young as 5 years old can apply, an adult sponsor is required to receive project funding. The sponsor will need to purchase supplies and materials required for the project and submit receipts for a refund. Unfortunately, we cannot fund gift cards of any kind.
