Longmont City Council Encourages Residents to Provide Public Comment from Their Homes
Have you thought you might be interested in learning how to ride the bus, but have avoided it due to fear of the unknown? Fear no more. The City of Longmont is sponsoring a “How to Ride RTD” workshop at which all of your questions will be answered.
At this workshop, members from City staff, Commuting Solutions, and RTD will be present to answer your questions including how to locate a stop, how to read a schedule, how to select the type of transit option you need (bus versus rail), fares and passes, the specialty rides including SkyRide to DIA, Local, Limited, Regional and Express Bus services, call-n-Ride, and how to access RTD transit by bicycle.
An RTD Bus will be available to demonstrate how to board, how to load a bicycle on the bus bike racks, and various other features on the bus.
The event will take place on October 17, 2018 from 6 to 7 pm at the Longmont Museum auditorium, located at 400 Quail Road.
