Annual Water Line Flushing to Occur in May

High winds over the weekend led to some longer-than-usual dropoff lines today at the Waste Diversion Center, 140 Martin St. Residents arriving at the facility early this morning encountered lines to dispose of their tree limbs downed by wind. Additional staff have been on hand throughout the day to help, and by mid-afternoon the line had returned to typical levels. Residents are encouraged to continue dropping off their tree limbs during the Waste Diversion Center's open hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
