Dog Storytime with Longmont Humane Society

• This special storytime takes the place of today’s All Ages storytime
• Note: there will be no Stay & Play following storytime today
• For ages birth to 5 years old and their grownups 
• Enjoy longer stories, movement, songs, and interactive activities while building social-emotional, literacy, and school-readiness skills

 

Get ready for fun with the Longmont Humane Society and their ambassador dog! We’ll read Love Me Gently: A Kid’s Guide for Man’s Best Friend, a wonderful story about a boy and his rescue pup that teaches children how to care for dogs with kindness and respect. After the story, kids will get to meet a real dog and practice their new skills in safe and gentle pet interactions.

 

Not recommended for people with dog allergies.
