ZELZIN, FOOTPRINTS THAT INSPIRE

Footprints that Inspire follows Zelzin Aketzalli, the first person from Mexico to complete the Triple Crown of Hiking, as she circumnavigates her home mountain, the Iztaccíhuatl volcano. Raised in a violent neighborhood in Mexico City, Zelzin turned adversity into strength and found purpose by hiking some of the world’s most iconic trails. SUBTITLED.

VOICES FROM THE ABYSS

The cliff divers in Acapulco are a diverse group — including boys, girls, elders, Afro-Mexicans and natives — who earn their living by diving 100 feet into the sea from a dangerous cliff as part of a thrilling show at La Quebrada. In Voices from the Abyss, we explore the nature of their dives through slow-motion footage, personal testimonies and an original poem recited by the divers. SUBTITLED.
