The Cycle of Love
India/Sweden/UK, Feature Documentary, 98 minutes, 2025

“An epic love story that spans continents and generations.” —Next Best Picture

From the Telluride Film Festival

In 1977, Lotta, a beautiful Swedish girl who craved adventure, took the then-popular hippie trail toward India, where her path crossed with PK, a charming artist from an “untouchable” Indian family. The pair fell madly for each during Lotta’s relatively short stay. And though she promised to come back in August when she left, that month came and went without her return. Crazy in love and armed with a great astrological projection, PK packed his paintbrushes and left India on a bicycle with the plan of cycling 7,000 miles to Sweden to find her. With every mile, PK learns that the road to love is as transformative as love itself and that some journeys change you forever. PARTIALLY SUBTITLED.
