The December 2nd meeting is a special meeting called the Organizational Meeting. At this meeting, which starts at 7:30 p.m. per the City’s Charter, the newly elected Mayor and Council Members will be sworn in. The new Council will then hold a Regular Session meeting.
Longmont City Council meets almost every Tuesday at 7 pm in the Council Chambers located in the Civic Center at 350 Kimbark St., Longmont, CO 80501. Meeting agendas and cancellations are posted on the City’s Agenda Management Portal.
Council Meetings are in-person and anyone wishing to address the Council for public comment must attend the meeting. All meetings of the Longmont City Council are open to the public except for Executive Sessions which are held only as needed to provide legal advice to Council on a specific topic as allowed under Colorado Open Meetings laws.
