Community Water Academy 

Dive into Longmont’s water story at the Community Water Academy- a free, interactive event hosted by the City of Longmont Water Department in partnership with Colorado Water Stories with support from WaterNow Alliance and River Network.

The Community Water Academy will offer a behind-the-scenes look at how water travels from mountain sources to your home and how everyone can play a role in preserving this vital resource. Explore hands-on activities, fun educational videos, and insightful presentations. Also, get a preview of updates to Longmont’s Water Quality Report and share your feedback.

Designed with accessibility and inclusion in mind, the Community Water Academy aims to welcome participants interested in learning more about their local water system. Free educational programming for children will be provided by Dandelion Arts Collective. Spanish and ASL interpretation services are available by request during registration.
