Do Something Fantastic, Cut the Plastic: A Plastic Free July Event

Did you know every 1-liter plastic water bottle needs 3-liters of water to be made? More than 70% of plastic water bottles are only used one time before going to the landfill.
Plastic Free July is a global movement helping people solve the problem of plastic pollution. Come explore the issues and discover solutions with community resources and a panel featuring regional waste reduction and reuse experts.
The event will include:
- Resource and Information tabling with community waste leaders.
- A moderated panel discussion with speakers from Boulder County, Sustainable Resilient Longmont, Eco-Cycle, Green Girl Recycling, Vulture Collective, Resource Central, Longmont’s Waste Services and more. Panelists are subject to change.
- A FREE “Choose to Refuse” kit for attendees!
- Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
