Do Something Fantastic, Cut the Plastic: A Plastic Free July Event

Did you know every 1-liter plastic water bottle needs 3-liters of water to be made? More than 70% of plastic water bottles are only used one time before going to the landfill.

The event will include:

 

  • Resource and Information tabling with community waste leaders. 
  • A moderated panel discussion with speakers from Boulder County, Sustainable Resilient Longmont, Eco-Cycle, Green Girl Recycling, Vulture Collective, Resource Central, Longmont’s Waste Services and more. Panelists are subject to change. 
  • A FREE “Choose to Refuse” kit for attendees! 
  • Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
