Explore the vibrant Historic East Side on a tour with Longmont Museum Curator of History Elizabeth Beaudoin. The Historic East Side is a neighborhood that contains stories from Longmont’s everyday working folks who kept the city running. We’ll discuss how the neighborhood was home to many of Longmont’s immigrant families, what vernacular architecture is, and how the neighborhood fought back against urban renewal and increased industrialization.
