Join educators from Blue Sky Bridge, Boulder County’s Child Advocacy Center for a light, approachable workshop for parents and caregivers of young children (from pre-K to early elementary). This workshop gives parents and caregivers simple, confidence-building ways to talk with young children about their bodies, boundaries, and staying safe. We will focus on everyday language you can use at home—nothing scary, nothing overwhelming, just practical tools that help kids feel confident, informed, and supported. We’ll explore how to name body parts in a healthy way, how to teach kids about personal space and consent, and how to respond when children ask curious questions about bodies or how they work. We also cover gentle, age-appropriate ways to introduce safety concepts so children know what to do if something ever feels uncomfortable.
