Recreation Center Pool Closures

Every year, the City’s recreation facilities close for maintenance and updates on systems and equipment. In 2026, a new leisure pool play feature is being installed at the Longmont Recreation Center.

The lap pool and hot tub will open at 5 am on Thursday, September 17. Open Swim with diving boards will be available in the lap pool area during designated times.

Some Aqua Fitness classes resume Monday, Sept. 21. View the fitness schedule.

The leisure pool – which includes the lazy river and slides – is currently closed. It will potentially open by Thursday, Sept. 24. Visit the pool webpage for updates.
