MORE ABOUT THE ARTIST

DOGTAGS is a band built around friendship, community & acceptance. DOGTAGS is music for besties, baes & kindred spirits. Songs that start as friends and grow into something more. A neo-soul, jazz, r&b, & post-pop collective blooming in Denver, CO. At their core, DOGTAGS is still the duo they started as; anchored always by the sensual, latin/bossa guitar work of Michael Merola and the breathtaking “you HAVE to hear them live” vocal acrobatics & songwriting of Regi Worles. Their camaraderie & musicality together is undeniable. In the last year, DOGTAGS have folded in friends & collaborators (drums, keys, trumpet, saxophone, more guitar!) playing with varied lineups, styles & setlists, making each DOGTAGS show a magical event. Seeing DOGTAGS live is to witness real, live friendship in all its brilliant, technicolor action. Their songs and their live set are special; not just for their tight, fresh, exciting musicianship, but for the life changing message they carry. That the way to change the world starts with our individual, interpersonal relationships. Platonic, romantic, familial, ecstatic. Love & acceptance, radical & essential. DOGTAGS urge & encourage the listener to change the world one friend at a time.
