Join us for our special Summer Science Series and try out some fun, new science experiments! Participants will get an introduction to new scientific concepts and will get to try their own hands-on experiments. The program is for children entering 1st – 5th grade, and caregivers should be present to provide help and supervision. This program is generously supported by the Friends of the Longmont Library.

 

Here are our themes for Summer 2026:

 

  • June 4: Rainbows and Prisms
  • June 18: Volcanoes
  • July 2: Tardigrades (Water Bears)
  • July 16: Sun and Cyanotypes (Sun prints)
